Investing in Our Community
The owners and staff members at Main & Market believe sharing our time, talent and resources with the community is a great way to show our appreciation. We support many non-profit organizations, charities, schools and groups including the following:
Maryland Hall Arts Alive
Their main mission is to create Art for All which is centered around providing lifelong accessible engagement in the arts. Founded in 1979, it was the former Annapolis High School. The founders felt the location should be used for the betterment of the community. We recommend you check out their performance and events schedule.
Historic Annapolis Foundation
Stemming from a grassroots effort to preserve downtown Annapolis, Historic Annapolis strives to preserve and protect. This includes historic places, objects, and stories of Maryland’s capital. From volunteer work to individual donors, there are many ways to get involved. In addition, they promote education to school age and beyond of the amazing diversity and history of the City of Annapolis.
Hospice of the Chesapeake
The Hospice of the Chesapeake has been caring for loved ones and helping families through loss for more than three decades. They have an interdisciplinary team-oriented approach to compassionate care. Many organizations and companies have hosted an event in their name to help raise funds.
Anne Arundel Medical Center
AAMC was founded in 1902 and includes a not-for-profit hospital. It was originally created as an emergency hospital by Annapolitan woman that was housed in a small cottage. From there it has grown to a 57-acre campus which outpatient pavilions throughout Maryland. Not to mention, their Research Institute is a part of the Johns Hopkins Clinical Research Network. It helps accelerate the transfer of new diagnostic, treatment, and disease prevention advances from the research arena into patient care.
